Yoga Dance Flow

Every Tuesday, I try to choreograph and create dance flow based on Vinyasa yoga style, and I must say that I love love this process.

As a ballet teacher and a yoga instructor, this has helped me with creating movement that flows from one to the next; And it has definitely helped me with choreography, with moving better and with creating sequences

With each dance flow, I aim to marry strength, flexibility, balance and mediation, moving and flowing from one yoga pose to the next; integrating breath and movement.

Nothing is more liberating and nothing gives me a sense of freedom and joy than dancing this flow in open air, high ground, surrounded by the amazing sunset colors, blue ocean, freshness of the air.

I am aware of the camera in front of me and a couple of guys flying drones above me but still I am so immersed in the music, in my own choreography and blood rushes through my spine as the music hit its notes and my movement matches it. Yes I get excited when the music somehow matches my movement.

Each dance flow takes me about 5-10 minutes to choreograph and I feel challenged but alive with this new discipline that I create for myself.
